It all started when…
It's a little hard to find because it is a pretty private beach, therefore the instructions are not the quickest way to get there, but certainly the easiest.
When you get to Courtney, turn right at the Westerly Hotel, cross the bridge and the turn left as if you are going to Campbell River.
Go past the Superstore and turn right on Ryan Road. You will go up a long hill and at the top of the hill you will come to a traffic light.
Turn right at the light on top of the hill onto Lerwick Road (Just before Crown Isle golf course).
Follow Lerwick all the way. Lerwick becomes Guthrie and goes for 8-10 km. Finally Lerwick/Gurthrie ends at Lazo Road.
Turn right at Lazo Road and drive for about 1 km until you come to a stop sign.
This is where you are most likely to get confused so follow the following instructions closely!
Turn left onto Balmoral Road, travel about 1/2 km and then Balmoral has a 90 degree turn left. Turn left and then travel another 200-300 meters (There is a postal box on your right) to where Balmoral goes straight and Curtis Road is to your right.
Turn right onto Curtis Road. You will travel about 1/2 km and then the road will veer off to the left onto a smaller version of Curtis Road.
Travel along the twists and turns of the smaller Curtis Road for about 1 1/2 km. The Beach House is the 2nd to last house on the right hand side.
